My Miku cosplay didn't make it in time, but the convention turned out better than I thought it would.

Friday:

Costume: Nami (Enies Lobby)

Geoff, Kurt and I got to the hotel around 1ish. We found Laura wandering around the lobby alone dressed as Battle Maid Mikuru (BOOBS!) As soon as Geoff checked us in, we headed to our room. It was the BIGGEST room we've ever stayed in. It had a king size bed and a pull out couch. Will and Laura got the pull out bed and Kurt gathered the couch cushions and built himself a bed near the table. That left Geoff and I with the king size bed. it was weird sleeping in it. There was SO MUCH ROOOOM!
Tom, Ken, Ed, Shane and T-Man occupied the other room we booked, which we lovingly named the 'Sausage fest'.
Geoff and I changed into Nami and Sanji and headed out to get our badges. The line took 3 seconds to get our badges signed and laminated.
We met up with Ken later and we ran into this AMAZING Zoro cosplayer. It was great because he was dressed as the Enies Lobby version like Geoff and I were. We got a few pics taken with him and we found Sarah who was 'borrowing' her baby nephew. She was dressed as Yoko and she made an adorable little Boota outfit for the baby. We put sun glasses on him and took pics. it was amazing.
Friday was over-all chill. We went to Ed's Name that anime tune. We ran out of time for round two so the game was never finished. We ran into Zoro again in the hotel bar/restaurant. We chatted for a bit and went to the office room where there were computers. Kurt wanted to show us this weird talk show thing, but neither of the computers played videos. We met these two guys dressed as Harry Potter people who walked in on our hilarious One Piece 4Kids banter. Geoff recruited them as his henchmen to destroy 4Kids, to which they literally thought they were going to destroy four children. Sometimes its best to leave things unsaid. It makes it funnier.
Laura wanted us to accompany her to the Japanese snack tasting panel. Free Ramune is never a bad thing. Especially Melon Ramune.
The Hentai dub was HILARIOUS. Ed found some pretty FUCKED UP shit to have people dub. Geoff got to go up and be the voice of some dude's cock.
We were all pretty tired. Laura and Will were already in bed by the time we got up there. Tom and T-man arrived late that night. We gave them their keys and they went off doing god knows what. The last thing I remember before falling asleep was some History Channel special entitled "The History of Sex".

Saturday:

Costume: Nami (Saboady ver.)

Geoff hit the snooze button on his phone like 8 times. We woke up a little later than I wanted. Laura had to be down stairs to do registration or something.
As I got ready, I watch Will fold the pull out couch while Laura was still in it. All I could see of her was her little arms waving frantically. She was laughing so hard I couldn't understand her.
We finally got dressed and went downstairs. We ate breakfast and saw Zoro again. We finally learned that his name was Greg.
We stopped to talk with Tony and her group, and one of the Harry Potter dudes came over to Geoff and nodded. He was dressed as a Twilight Vampire, complete with body glitter. I think we was going around trolling Twilight fans or something, but it was pretty hilarious. T-man had his own unintentional trolling moment. He was dressed as Naruto from Shippuden and some people came up to him and started talking about the most recent chapter of Naruto. T-man responded "I don't read Naruto anymore."
Sarah had Geoff and I bring people in for the dating game. The first bachelorette was Boa Hancock from One Piece. The contestants were Roxas, Grell Sutcliff and Sanji. Geoff was only in it because one other contestant didn't show up. Geoff hates dating games, but he did a GREAT job staying in character and making us all laugh. Grell was pretty funny too, and Roxas was shy at first, but she started to come out of her shell a little towards the end. Boa picked Roxas in the end. Sanji sulked back to his seat, but then he saw me and 'mellorine'd'. The next round had Reno as the bachelor, whom I lead in by his shirt. The contestants were; Cooking Mama, Momo from Bleach and Jessica Rabbit. Rude came in and talked to Reno before the match started. Cooking Mama saw him and said into her mic: "Mama loves Chocolate". That was THE quote from the con.
In the end, Reno picked Jessica Rabbit, but after she proclaimed she was happily married, he was left to sulk, which lead to Laura's round.
Laura was the bachelorette dressed as Mikuru. The contestants were Zero from Vampire Knight, some dude I can't remember where he was from but God was he lame, and Parco Folgore from Gash Bell. Zero was Emo, The middle dude was lame and Folgore was brilliant. Laura picked him in the end.
Ken was dressed as Saboady Zoro with us (LOL CIRCUS TENT SHIRT). The hair dye came out a lot better than I expected. We saw Greg again and invited him to a photo shoot outside. T-man and Kurt joined us as well. Kurt took pics of Me, Ken and Geoff together, then we did individuals. I got a few shots of me and Zoro and Me and Geoff. I gave into my fangirlishness and had some SanjiXNami pics done. They came out so cute! (Remember kids, there is only ONE pairing in One Piece. And that is LuffyXAdventure) We finished up the shoot with Greg getting pics done. It was fucking COLD outside. But herp derp it's NOVEMBER. I wore Sanji's coat for the rest of the night XD


Sunday:

Costume: Nami (Enies Lobby....again....yeah)

The Chess Match started at 11AM. That's a little better than 10AM last year...
I had discussed my death with Don Flamingo the night before. She is genius. Her plan was to have Sanji chase me off the board and he would wallow in self pity for the rest of the match. BRILLIANT. I killed Harry Potter with a 'Happiness Punch' and then searched his pockets for cash. I got a dollar.
Sarah was the queen as Yoko and Sketch was King Kamina. The theme was Magic VS Science. The original plan was to have Geoff and I dressed as Miku and Kaito, but my outfit never showed up, so I cosplayed Nami instead which is...kinda science I guess. And Sanji was only there to 'rotect' me.
America from Hetalia and Aburatsubo from Magic users club were king and queen of the magic side. I have no idea how America is magic, but fuck it, Katy is awesome.
Magic won. I had a lot of fun doing chess this year.
We hung out with Tony dressed as Sir Crocodile, Don Flamingo Jackie dressed as Luffy and Boa after the match. We also met up with the CUTEST Inazuma ever :3. Ken got some awesome pics of us with them outside. Boa and I were FREEZING.
We stayed for a good portion of closing ceremonies. I was way too tired to stay for the auction. Geoff drove me and Kurt back to Stratham.
Not being staff for a change was great. AAC is such a relaxing con.

The next morning, my Miku costume arrived. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU--
